Facial recognition genuinely works as advertised in hands-on testing. The facial recognition is the star of the show, and it works surprisingly well, being responsive and consistent in regular lighting conditions. It also resisted spoofing attempts: testers weren't able to fool it with a photo or a similar-looking person, and the AI-based facial recognition felt as secure as Apple's Face ID.
Genuinely convenient keyless entry with minor software friction. The Lockly Visage offers multiple ways to access and secure a door, including the first facial scanner on a smart lock, and it's accurate, fast, and sturdy.
Well suited to homeowners wanting cutting-edge keyless entry; battery maintenance and high price are real considerations. Cons include the battery requiring charging every month at default settings, and it being expensive for lacking video surveillance or doorbell functionality.
